Steadfast

Updated: Jan 1

Do you see that title there...steadfast.

I was in my normal morning routine and in praying with the Lord, I thought of a couple of sermons where my Pastor spoke about Zacchaeus and about Mary. He stated that everyone has a story or a word from God. Boy, was I praying hard. I asked God to reveal a word to me, and as His faithful servant I will hear it with open ears and act on it.

He revealed 'steadfast' to me. I have heard that His 'steadfast' love endures forever. But what does it mean and how can I apply it?

Steadfast means: 'resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.'

I thought and prayed on this. In fact, I am still praying on this! I know that my love and faith in God can be steadfast. No one on earth means more to me than God. Not even my husband and kids! In fact, I tell them all that I love them more than anything on earth. So, nothing is put above the Lord.

I know that with faith, I can stick to my daily devotionals and bible reading. In fact, I have timers on my phone set every three hours to do my devotional or read the bible. With these times, they don't have to be an hour long each time. Some days I only have enough time for ten minutes of uninterrupted time with God. That's okay! He knows my heart and my circumstances.

I invite you on the journey of asking God what word He has for you. It may even be more than one word! What does He WANT you to hear?

Feel free to leave it as a comment or even reach out to me in message and share what God wants for you!

And remember, mindfulness, no matter what it looks like for you, is great for healing and recovery. It's all about having a positive environment and positivity is crucial for overall health and wellbeing!

Until next time...

xo, Jess
