Service Dog = Awesome Dog!

Look at this cute little face! Don’t get me wrong, he’s a little terror. But today he was able to show us how he is in public around so many people and different dogs!

We went to my son’s soccer game. He sat beside me and even laid down at times. At the start the line ref came up to him, gave him a few pets, and jokingly said, “now don’t chase me!”

With all of the commotion, refs running up and down the field, players running around, soccer balls being kicked in the air, and this sweet boy did not flinch.

At half time a young boy came and asked if he could pet him. He’s training to be a service dog, so he’s not on the clock yet! I figured he could get some good pets in and I told the boy, “yes!”

Atticus licked his face and nudged his hands. A lady came over to us and brought her infant with her. I was assuming it was the boy’s mother and when she stooped down to show the infant my puppy, Atticus stared at the baby and then licked the infant girl from her chin up to her forehead! The baby blinked a few times and then chuckled.

My sweet boy has done so well and I am proud to have him by my side.
